I love everything about this book. Normally, biographies don’t interest me because they tend to be dull, but this one is an exception. It’s engaging, easy to read, and a surprisingly fast read. If you haven’t picked it up yet, you definitely should give it a try!
Robert Iger’s gripping biography, The Ride of a Lifetime, provides a close-up view of the leadership path taken by one of the most significant CEOs of our time. In this book, Iger talks about his experiences leading The Walt Disney Company and how he was instrumental in turning the company into a major force in the world by making historic acquisitions like Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 21st Century Fox
The book is more than a business narrative; it’s a primer on leadership, resilience, and creativity. Iger’s writing is enlightening and encouraging, with practical advice on taking risks, cultivating creativity, and remaining loyal to one’s principles. Whether you’re a Disney fan, a business enthusiast, or someone looking for inspiration, this book provides essential insights and an interesting look into the magic behind the brand. An absolute must-read for both leaders and dreamers!
Overall, I give this book 4 stars
